Con grande dolore, il 1 dicembre ho comunicato a tutti i soci AIIA la tragica scomparsa in un incidente stradale del Collega e amico Giuseppe Provenzano, mentre si trovava in missione in Egitto. Giuseppe, ordinario del settore AGR/08 e componente del Consiglio Direttivo dell’AIIA, era un punto di riferimento nel campo dell’irrigazione nazionale e internazionale. In Egitto Provenzano era andato per un progetto europeo di formazione dei tecnici agrari locali, accompagnato dal giovane dottorando Dario De Caro...

MetroAgriFor intends to create an active and stimulating forum where academics, researchers and industry experts in the field of measurement and data processing techniques for Agriculture, Forestry and Food can meet and share new advances and research results. Attention is paid, but not limited to, new technologies for agriculture and forestry environment monitoring, food quality monitoring, metrology-assisted production in agriculture, forestry and food industries, sensors and associated signal conditioning for agriculture and forestry, calibration methods for electronic test and measurement for environmental and food applications.

This conference on biosystems engineering wants agriculture to add a valued contribution to a modern society of the 21th century. We will therefore host engineers, scientists, industry people and practitioners to share and integrate knowledge and expertise from various disciplines. They will highlight innovative technological methods and novel system concepts that will enhance sustainable development of food and biomass production and processing.
INPUT2018, 10th International Conference on Innovation in Urban and Regional Planning, September 5 - 8, 2018, Viterbo.
INPUT2018 is organized by DAFNE – Department of Agriculture and Forestry Science, Research group on territorial and urban planning.
This Tenth Edition will purse multiple objectives with a holistic, boundary-less character to face the complexity of today socio-ecological systems following a systemic approach aimed to problem solving. In particular, the Conference will aim to present the state of art of modelling approaches employed in urban and territorial planning in national and international contexts.
Moreover, the conference will host the QGIS hackfest (8 th September).
INPUT is managed by an informal group of Italian academic researchers working in many fields related to the exploitation of informatics and innovation in planning.
As usual since 1999, INPUT main themes and tracks are expected to emerge from the topics of presentations.
